NKPK Movie was supposed to be released on 21st Sep ’12 in just 35 theaters along with Saattai & Charulatha. They had a preview show for celebrities on 19th Sep ’12 and it received great response from the Celebrities. Venkat Prabhu mentioned that this movie would be a trend-setter like Chennai - 600028, Madhan karky mentioned it as the best comedy movie that he had seen in recent times, etc.

Hence, Producer decided to release the movie at a later date with more number of screens. Vijay Sethupahthy’s Pizza got released before this movie and was declared as blockbuster of this year. Finally, the movie got released in 150 theaters today with good positive word of mouth from Celebrities and Media. Let us see whether it will satisfy the expectations of a Common Man in this review

Story of the movie is said to be based on a real-life incident that happened in the life of the film's cinematographer Prem Kumar. It is a humorous tale about a young man who forgets few days of his life when he is about to get married.

How his 3 friends manages the situation for 3 days without anyone's knowledge is shown in the screen for nearly 150 minutes. Most of the scenes are occupied by these three new comers and they have done full justice to their role. Comedy in this movie is not forced and it looks very natural. Bhagawathy Perumal really steals the show with his wonderful performance in the movie

Vijay Sethupathi proves once again that he is the BEST FIND of this year. His acting looks too natural and he had done with ease. Fortune favours the brave and he is really very fortunate to work with 3 best debut directors in his short career. Karthik Subbaraj, Balaji and his next movie will be with 'Nalayar Iyakunar 'Nalan'

18 Vayasu fame Gayathri was advertised as heroine of this movie..But, I feel that she had just done guest appearance in this movie as she appears in only 3 scenes during last 30 minutes of the movie. She doesn't have much scope in this movie to show her performance

Music Director Ved Shankar back ground music was too good in this movie. Crazy Minnalae Song from the Movie is already a huge hit and had reached almost 2 Lakhs Views in Youtube (Thanks to Andrea)..'Hey Crazy Penne' Song was too good and it would have been one of the best songs of this year. But surprisingly, both the songs were not picturized and there is just one song in this movie..

Cinematographer Premkumar Chandran had captured the scenes in such a way that we feel that it is happening in-front of our eyes

Director Balaji Tharaneetharan had to be really appreciated for trying a different attempt in Tamil Cinema. Comedy scenes and dialogues are too natural and doesn't sounds cinematic.

Screenplay of the Movie is too Slow and predictable. Movie seems to be very dragging as it runs for 150 minutes with just one Song. It definitely needs some more editing in the first half to engage the audience.

This Movie will definitely receive MIXED RESPONSE from audience. People who loves DIFFERENT ATTEMPT will be praising it while few others will be saying that movie looks very dramatic and an extended version of Short film.

Rating for this Movie will be 2.75 / 5 for Common Man

For People who loves different attempt in Tamil Cinema, it will be 3 / 5
