Popular Hollywood star Morgan Freeman was recently in the news after facing accusations of sexual harassment from several women. It was reported that the Shawshank Redemption actor had inappropriately behaved with various women who had worked with him in his career span.

Many of them had apparently complained that he would behave in ways which would make the women uncomfortable. According to reports, a senior member of the production team in the film Now You See Me had stated that he had sexually harassed her and her female assistant. It was said that he would make comments on their bodies. 

The Seven actor has now given out an apology that read, "Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”
