EXPECTATION METER

His Kalakalappu was a money spinning venture in 2012 and Sundar C has managed to create enough buzz for his ventures in 2013 as well. Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru looks promising with an interesting star cast of Siddharth, Hansika, Santhanam and Ganesh Venkatraman. Simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu, the movie will be looking to cash in on Siddharth's popularity in both the languages.

According to Sundar, it's an urban romance with no double entendre or any other form of vulgarity. Proving his point, the movie was recently certified U by the censor board without any cuts paving way to be promoted as a movie suitable for viewing by family audience.

The movie revolves around an IT professional, played by Siddharth, and his trials and tribulations with life. There is no slapstick comedy says Sundar, adding that the comedy has been 'built into the story.' The movie has quite a few cameo appearances by Vishal, Rana Daggubati and Samantha. Vidyullekha Raman, RJ Balaji and Devadarshini are also part of the cast.

Music is scored by C Sathya. Produced by UTV and Avni Cinemax, Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru is releasing this weekend in both Tamil and Telugu versions.
