Vijay's Sarkar has got a Mega Grand Opening at the Chennai box office by collecting a huge amount of 10.72 crores (6-day opening weekend) approximately. These are estimated collections derived by Behindwoods Box Office wing.
Going by the opening weekend collections of Vijay's previous films, it looks like Sarkar will be one of the top grossers in the star's career. The Mersal actor's career has seen an exponential growth over the past 6 years from Thuppakki to Sarkar and this box office comparison report is a testimony to the fact.
Despite the increase in the ticket price, you can still see the growth rate of Vijay through this stat
