Shankar might have started the revolution but the trend was quick to catch on. As we stare at a not-so-distant-future of a homegrown Avatar, here is how the story of ultra-motion shots grew to be in Tamil.

If you have seen Aishwarya’s fall from the waterfall and Vikram trying to rescue her, subsequently falling in love with her, you would realize there is something exceptionally inhuman going on there. It is an augmented scene that features ultra-motion.
