5th Behindwoods Gold Medal Awards 2018 conducted on June 17th was a joyous moment for all. Here is a compiled list of all the proud winners of the BGM18.
"Isai Puyal" AR Rahman has always been a constant favorite for many, be it with his soulful singing of melodies or engaging background music he puts across. Nothing can match his purity of magic that he brings along in every film. Known for making characters feel alive on screen through his music, his collaborations with Mani Ratnam brings a further cherishing output.
Once again the duo created magic on screen with their performance in Kaatru Veliyidai. He establishes a unique style with every director he joins hands with. His new combo with director Atlee for Mersal was massively received. We are highly honored to present AR Rahman with Best Music Director award for his scoring in Kaatru Veliyidai & Mersal.
Unfortunately, AR Rahman could not be here with us to share this special moment, as a team, we from Behindwoods convey our best wishes to him.
