BIGG BOSS TAMIL 5 CONTESTANTS - CHINNA PONNU
Bigg Boss Tamil 5 seems to take cue from season three and four with regards to bringing in contestants. Last time we had folk and gaana singer Velmurugan who made an entry in the fourth season. This time we have popular folk singer Chinna Ponnu of 'Naaku Mukka' fame. The famed singer entertained the audience with a popular Tamil dance number and joined the show as the 8th contestant of the season. She also sang a song composed by herself for Kamal Haasan. Speaking about her struggles as a folk singer, she said that she said that people used to demean her for being a folk artist.
