Rekka, directed by Rathina Siva is gearing up for a big release on the 7th of October. Starring Vijay Sethupathi, Lakshmi Menon, Sathish, KS Ravikumar and others, this movie will see Vijay Sethupathi taking up the mass avatar.

Produced by B. Ganesh, who heads Common Man Productions, the film is distributed by Sivabalan pictures. Music is handled by D.Imman.

Vijay Sethupathi has done quite a handful of films this year and this is his sixth release this year. Rekka seems to have references to other films. A few of these moments, be it the scene where Ghilli is played on TV or the scene where Vijay Sethupathi poses like Sivakarthikeyan from Maan Karate, were revealed and a single track 'Virru Virru', including the making of the song was released on YouTube.

Dinesh Krishnan is the Director of Photography and KL Praveen is the editor. We hope this team triumphs and Vijay Sethupathi piles up another success.
