This Gautham Menon romance traces the journey of the love life of a couple in three stages of their lives. Jiiva and Samantha play the lead while Santhanam fills in the shoes of a comedian.

Opening has been impressive and two weeks after its release, the movie is slowly giving way to other releases in multiplexes settling into above average collections. The Telugu version, however, seems to be faring better.

Santhanam’s comedy is one of the highlights of the movie.

One of the widely expected movies of the year, Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Neethane En Ponvasantham is a movie that delves into a couple’s romance focusing on all four stages of their lives. Jiiva and Samantha play the couple while Santhanam ups the comedy quotient with his tried and tested antics.

The movie enjoyed a very good opening weekend and it's been fantastic thanks to sold-out advance bookings.

Jiiva’s appearance, Samantha’s beatifying smile and Ilaiyaraja’s music are some of the movie’s highlights.
