Here we are, the last weekend of 2011. It has been a
year of all kinds of music, starting from the raucous
Aadukalam, the mellifluous Ko, Engeyum Kadhal to the
season of the irreverent numbers from Vaanam and Mayakkam
Enna. Of course, the phenomenon of Kolaveri also unleashed
this year. The year also saw the debuts of Ghibran and
Anirudh. Take a look at the leader board for the last
fortnight of 2011. Lets hope for a musically exciting

slow and lilting number; a rarity in the past
few months. Good use of mild beats and violins.
The rendition quite rightly doesn’t get
too sweet or high pitched, somehow reminds us
of Ilayaraja’s style. Good one to hear,
give it some time.
