NIVIN PAULY'S DIRECTOR SAYS, ''I SOLD THE SCRIPT OF ORU MEXICAN APARATHA FOR MONEY''

Director Jude Anthany Joseph, known for films like 'Om Shanthi Oshana' and 'Oru Muthassi Gadha' openly admitted that he had sold the script of 'Oru Mexican Aparatha'. Jude said that he had written the script before writing 'Om Shanthi Oshaana', the biggest hit of 2014. The movie gained Nivin Pauly great recognition and pushed him towards stardom. It also fetched Nazriya Nazim her first Kerala State Award for Best Actress.

'Oru Mexican Aparatha' is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by newcomer Tom Emmatty having Tovino Thomas and Neeraj Madhav in the lead roles.

Jude said that Tom approached him after seeing his Facebook post saying that he has a script ready for sale. Jude was in need of money and had put up the post looking for probable buyers. Tom then went on and changed the major portion of the script and according to Jude, the only 'Jude thing' that remains in, it is the title. Jude also said that this is the reason he requested the makers not to credit him as the writer.
