Hiphop Tamizha on his protest at Coimbatore

Hiphop Tamizha, who is an active participant in the ongoing protests for Jallikattu, took to his facebook, with a live video to convey his unhappiness with the way things happened at Coimbatore.

The music director/actor, is known for making videos that deal with social issues and he is someone who clearly stated that a peaceful protest for Jallikattu, is a must and that the only aim that people should have must be to Amend PCA.

However, Hiphop Tamizha mentioned that, in Coimbatore where he spent nearly an entire day protesting, he found out that a certain section of the protestors are indulging in wrong practises and misguiding the others from their target, which is only to bring back Jallikattu.

I am hurt and unhappy with the way things have happened at Coimbatore. These sections have been forgetting their actual problem and are taking it out on our nation by scolding our leaders and nation’s politicians. Disgracing the Indian flag, abusing the leaders in public, bringing in religious preferences to this protest, etc are a few unnecessary things that have to be strictly avoided. A lot of youngsters, families watching these will get misguided and this is a bad practise that is irrelevant and unwanted for our current issue” he said.

An emotional Hiphop Tamizha pleaded with those watching his live video to spread this note and to keep in mind our goal rather than digressing from it. He also said that he will always extend his support to Jallikattu by actively participating in the protests across the state and also through his meaningful ways of educating people who stand for this issue.
