It had Soundarya, Krishna Kumar and Lingeshwaran Gemini in the lead roles was released on Behindwoods TV, Youtube Channel. The short film went viral, and soon the director was back with a sequel, 'Yours Shamefully 2'
'Yours Shamefully 2' also received an exceptional response from Netizens, by raking in millions of views on Behindwoods TV YouTube. The female lead Soundarya was retained in this film, while director Vignesh Karthick donned the actor's hat to play a crucial role in this film.
The acclaimed series of this short film is now going to take a bigger route, as it is all set to be developed into a web series that will be produced by the iconic movie production house 'Kavithalaya Productions' and Behindwoods as a joint venture.
Speaking about this, Pushpa Kandaswamy, the daughter of Iyakkunar Sigaram K Balachander and Head of Kavithalaya Productions said, "Yours Shamefully is one of the most popular creations available on YouTube. It has got many million views and the content is also excellent. So, we zeroed in on producing Yours Shamefully 3, that will be a web series. We are collaborating with Behindwoods to produce this venture, and we hope this will be successful as the previous ones."
Banking on the huge success and popularity of the short films, the director has also bagged feature films offers and they are in early stages of pre-production. In addition to the this, Kavithalaya will be producing three more web-series, to be helmed by popular directors Saran (Gemini, Vasool Raja MBBS), Priya (Kanda Naal Mudhal), and RS Prasanna (Kalyana Samayal Sadham).
