At a time when the hype around the film is high, ace-comedian Yogi Babu has confirmed to Behindwoods in an exclusive interview that he's playing a role in the movie. When asked about debuting in Bollywood, he said, "I never expected I'll debut in Bollywood. I was just focussed on my work and doing it correctly and let it take me to places."

He recalled that Director Atlee called him after watching his hit movie 'Mandela' and said, "He appreciated me for the movie and said he will call me for a work. I accepted it. The talks are going on for it and is almost finalised." 

Yogi Babu is one of the biggest and busiest actors in the industry. He recently finished dubbing for Prashanth's upcoming movie 'Andhagan' and a slew of upcoming films including Vijay's 'Beast', Ajith's 'Valimai, Director Hari's 'AV33', Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor', 'Thamezharasan', an untitled movie with Legend Saravanan, 'Kasethan Kadavulada 2' and many others. He also has Santhanam's 'Dikkiloona' releasing on September 10, Vijay Sethupathi's 'Annabelle Sethupathi' on September 17 and Sundar C's 'Aranmanai 3' awaiting release.

For the unversed, the untitled upcoming film with Atlee will feature SRK acting in a double role and Mersal - Bigil fame’s DOP GK Vishnu will be seen handling the camera for this project as well.
