WOAH! SPELLBINDING!! SIVAKARTHIKEYAN'S DOCTOR TRAILER TAKES US THROUGH THE INTRIGUING WORLD OF KIDNAPPING - WATCH!

It was earlier reported that Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited film 'Doctor' is set to take the theatrical route despite multiple delays. The movie, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, was completed several months ago, but has been lying in the cans for sometime now due to various reasons including the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and Tamil Nadu elections.Sivakarthikeyan took to Twitter on September 18 to finally unveil the release date of this much-anticipated film and said, "See you in theatres" while unveiling a new poster that marked October 9 in bold letters in the shape of surgical instruments.

It was earlier announced that the trailer will be released today at 5pm. Sivakarthikeyan and the makers of the film dropped the link for the same today and the ace-actor wrote, "Here is our #DoctorTrailer. A different journey with lots of fun, thrill and excitement." The 2.30-minute-long trailer shows Sivakarthikeyan leading a group of people who act as a family inorder to kidnap girls. The film which promises its audience to take them on a "journey into the world of kidnapping", has intense music, action sequences and dark humour.

The trailer also shows the villain Vinay Rai planning to take down the team lead by Sivakarthikeyan. We can also expect a one-on-one duel between the duo as the end sequences show the bloodied actor starring into the eyes of the villain. The theme deals with organ and human trafficking. Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan's earlier film 'Kaaki Sattai' (2015) too dealt with a similar concept - organ donation racket. 

Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for the project. The action-entertainer movie is jointly bankrolled by Sivakarthikeyan under his banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions and KJR studios.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on his college-based entertainer 'Don'. The dubbing works had also started recently It is directed by directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi and Produced by SK Productions and Lyca Productions. The movie also has Priyanka Mohan as the female lead. Meanwhile, Director Nelson Dilipkumar is busy with the shoot of Thalapathy Vijay's biggie 'Beast'.
