Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features Thalapathy Vijay and Malavika Mohanan in the lead. Apart from them, the film also features an ensemble cast which includes Vijay Sethupathi, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Ramesh Thilak, Andrea Jeremiah, Gouri G Kishan, Lintu Rony amongst others in prominent roles.
Produced by XB Film Creators, the film has kickstarted its shoot and completed several schedules. After Chennai, the team was said to be in Shimoga, Karnataka and it was only recently that the multi-faceted actor Vijay Sethupathi joined the team there.
Makkal Selvan has proved now and then as to why he is being loved by his fans. A recent video of him celebrating the birthday of his fan by cutting a cake and feeding it to the fan at the sets is taking the Internet by storm. Fans are indeed happy annachi! Check out the video here -
