Actor Vishal is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming film titled Sandakozhi 2. The film is directed by Lingusamy. This is Vishal's 25th film, and has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Rajkiran, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Soori and others play crucial roles in this revenge drama.

The Irumbuthirai actor, who is also the President of TFPC, took to Twitter to wish Stalin on becoming the President of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. He said: "Taking pride to wish Stalin Uncle, Thalapathy @mkstalin Sir, All the very best on being elected as President of DMK. Wishing the most deserving heir to the DMK legacy!!"

Stalin became the President of DMK party, 3 weeks after the demise of late M. Karunanidhi. He became only the second president of the party, after Karunanidhi. Durai Murugan was chosen as the treasurer.
