VELAIYILLA PATTADHARI 2 TEASER REVIEW

Following a slight confusion about the release of the teaser, it is finally out. Amitabh Bachchan released the proper version of the Velai Illa Pattadhaari 2 teaser which is action-packed and loaded with Dhanush, Dhanush, Dhanush, a little bit of Samuthirakani, then again Dhanush and more Dhanush.

Prior to the release, we expected, the trademark 'VIP kick', a punch dialogue from Dhanush, a shot of him blowing out some cigarette smoke, swashbuckling background score and possibly a glimpse of Kajol. (At least, we hoped). The teaser shows Samuthirakani, who plays Raghuvaran's dad, advising him about how to handle enemies, an impressive and massy theme, action cuts,  Dhanush's angry stare, and of course, his mom's spectacles. Eventually, we did get back something from our expectations.

In this well-cut teaser, we will definitely get hooked to the new VIP theme, which again is dominated by loud and pulsating electric guitars. You do wonder why it is still called Velaiyilla Pattadhari even though he has a job now, but well again, you ignore it because it has become a brand now. 

Soundarya Rajinikanth directs this film in which Sean Roldan takes care of the music department. GK Prasanna cuts this sequel produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and Wunderbar Films.
