Vikram is not doing Vishnuvardhan's next film

Chiyaan Vikram's latest release was the Anand Shankar directorial Irumugan, in 2016. After that, he has been constantly working on films like Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram, Vijay Chander's Sketch and Hari's Saamy Square. Apart from this, there have been various rumours about some directors apparently approaching the Saamy star for his next.

Just a few days ago, there were talks that director PS Mithran had approached Vikram with a script, and today there are rumours that director Vishnuvardhan of Billa fame is also in talks with Chiyaan for his next. When we contacted our reliable sources close to Vikram's camp, we hear that this is not true and that he has not committed to any other script yet.

Exciting information about Vikram and Hari's Saamy square

Saamy Square is an upcoming action entertainer directed by Hari, starring Vikram. It is the sequel to the 2003 superhit cop film, Saamy. The shooting for the film is progressing at a brisk pace, and we have got some exciting information about the characters.

The team has recently shot in a public place, with some big banners and statues in the display. Photos from the shooting spot have revealed some interesting information about the film. There is one poster in which Bobby Simhaa, OAK Sundar, and John Vijay are seen. They are being invited to the 29th death anniversary of their father, Perumal Pichai (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Perumal Pichai was the name of the antagonist in Saamy and he is killed by Aarusaamy (Vikram). Saamy did not have a timestamp on it, and this seems to be happening 29 years later. This could also be the time Aarusaamy retires and his son is old enough to be a police officer.

With this poster, we presume that Bobby (Ravanapichai), JohnVijay (Devendra Pichai), OAK Sundar (Mahendra Pichai) are Kota Srinivasa Rao's sons. It is most likely that Aarusaamy's son (played by Vikram himself in a dual role), as a cop, would be taking on the sons of Perumal. With the rumors about Vikram playing a dual role, this assumption seems to fit the bill.
