A user had asked Vijay, citing a Cool drink brand that he endorsed during the early days of his career and stated that he spoke about the ill-effects of those companies in his movie ‘Kaththi’. Vijay gave a genuine and undisputed response to this Tweet, which is currently trending in Social media.

Vijay replied saying “I feel happy to have done that now. Ennoda thavarugalai thituthikolgira saadharna manushan dhaan naanum.” (I’m a normal human being, trying to correct my mistakes.)

Replying to another tweet, Vijay said “I don’t endorse the brand anymore. When I heard Kathi script it did make sense to me and I voiced it through Jeeva character.”

On the work front, Vijay will be teaming up with his ‘Kathi’, ‘Thuppaki’ and ‘Sarkar’ director A.R.Murugadoss for the fourth time. The movie is tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’ and is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Watch this space for more updates.
