'VIJAY'S MASTER CAR, THEATRE REACTION, THALAPATHY'S COMPLIMENT'- MASTER MEMBER EXCLUSIVE

With a filmography that includes OK Kanmani, Maanagaram, Kaithi, Joker to his credit, Sathees Kumar's next film is the highly anticipated Vijay starrer Master, also his 14th film as a production designer. Satheesh Kumar said that the trademark blue coloured car used by Vijay is a vintage Contessa car that is custom designed according to director Lokesh Kanagaraj's instructions.

"The director wanted the car's roof to open up like a convertible. Right from the props to Vijay's accessories, everything were envisioned by the director. If he designs, it is correct. People will celebrate and enjoy Vijay's character in the film,"

Sathees recounted the moment when Vijay complimented his sets, as the actor expressed that the artwork felt real. "Vijay sir has seen many art directors in his career, and there is no need fo him to compliment anyone. But still, he does and his words give us the energy to work hard. Vijay sir is very polite."

Sathees said that he divided his team into three groups, and delegated work amongst them "One  team deals with the spot work, while another team deals with set work. Other team handles the sets for future shoots. As a result, it was easy for me to handle the overall supervision."
