Vijay Sethupathi's 25th film, Seethakathi is gearing up for its theatrical release, which is scheduled to happen on December 20. The film has got a very good amount of expectations among the audience for the fact that the film showcases Makkal Selvan as a 75 year old actor.
 

Seethakathi, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan of 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' fame, is a film that talks about an actor and his love for art. Vijay Sethupathi has undergone a very unique makeover for his looks in the film, with leading technicians from Hollywood, being bought for the prosthetic make up. Oscar award winning, Kevin Hanny and his team have worked on Vijay Sethupathi's looks.

Vijay Sethupathi plays the character of 'Ayya Aadhimoolam', who is an old theatre actor. Remya Nambeesan, Gayathrie, Parvathy, and director Mahendran play important roles. Also, it has now been revealed that the trailer of Seethakathi would be out on November 21.
