Cut back to 1999, Suriya's film with Vijayakanth, Periyanna had released, directed by Vijay's father SA Chandrasekar. Therefore, it came across as no surprise that Vijay has crooned three songs in the film to the score of Barani - Naan Dum Adikkira Styla Pathu, Juttadi Leela Sundara Mala and Rottula Oru Chinnaponnu.
Coming to the present, both Vijay and Suriya's projects are much anticipated - Master and Soorairai Pottru, respectively, the plans of which would be more clearer once the coronavirus pandemic is over.
