WILL CAPTAIN VIJAYAKANTH MAKE HIS RE-ENTRY IN CINEMA? POPULAR DIRECTOR ANSWERS!

Actor Vijayakanth, who fell ill a few years back in 2014, was treated at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. He was reportedly treated for thyroid problems, throat infections and kidney problems.

Then again in 2017-2018 he took a series of treatments in Chennai, Singapore, USA. Vijayakanth left for the United States via Dubai on August 30 last year for the next phase of the treatment. He was treated at a hospital in the United States and returned to Tamil Nadu. He did not act in cinema after 2010 due to politics and serious health issues. He last played a cameo role in the film Sagaptham. He was last seen as a protagonist and director in the 2010 film Virudhagiri.

Recently the latest photos of Captain Vijayakanth were released. Vijayakanth appeared with his family in it. These photos went viral amongst the fans.

It has been reported that Vijayakanth will be playing a pivotal role in Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan, a film directed by cinematographer Vijay Milton that features actor Vijay Antony.

When Behindwoods asked about this to the director Vijay Milton, he has confirmed that Vijayakanth will be playing the honorary role in Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan. It is also said that the team  are waiting for the dates issued by the Captain. 

Infiniti Film Ventures will be bankrolling this film. The film also stars actor Sarath Kumar in the lead.
