Vijay Antony speaks about his films and Thimiru Pudichavan

Thimiru Pudichavan is an upcoming cop film that has Vijay Antony and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles. It is written and directed by Ganeshaa. Produced by Fatima Vijay Antony under the production banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation, Thimiru Pudichavan is all set for a release on November 6, alongside Vijay's Sarkar.

Speaking to the press ahead of the release, Vijay Antony spoke about his previous projects and revealed that the past 2 films were a financial loss for him. He said: "Thimiru Pudichavan is a very important film in my life. My previous 2 films were a loss. I was in a lot of financial trouble. I'm releasing this on Diwali amidst a lot of trouble.

There are no big reasons for a Diwali release. The film was ready, so I did it. I don't want to create any issues, but if there is an issue, I won't leave it. A baby shouldn't stay inside a womb for more than 10 months.

This is not just my film. This film belongs to Ganeshaa. The first few minutes and the last few minutes of the film have Diwali scenes, so I thought I'll go ahead with a Diwali release. My hero wanted it and I'll do it."

Speaking about his role in this film, "Even though there is very little chemistry between us(with Nivetha Pethuraj) in the movie, I'm going to learn how to romance. Like fight scenes, I'm going to learn this too, and I'm very serious about it. In my upcoming films, you can see a romantic side of Vijay Antony. I'll also make sure that I'll learn in such a way that my name doesn't pop up in the Me Too controversy," added Vijay Antony.
