BREAKING: THUPPAKKI CONNECT IN SHANKAR-KAMAL'S INDIAN 2!

The upcoming film is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian, that was also directed by Shankar, with music by AR Rahman. It had Kamal Haasan in dual roles - Chandru and Senapathy. Indian 2 will have Ravi Varman handling the cinematography, and Sreekar Prasad heading the edit department.

It was already reported that the film is all set to go on floors in August 2019 and actress Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. She was last seen in SJ Suryah starrer Monster, directed by Nelson Venkatesan of Oru Naal Koothu.

Now, there is another update from the film. According to sources close to the development, Vidyut Jammwal who was portrayed as the main antagonist in Vijay’s 2012 action thriller hit, Thuppakki will be seen playing a role in Indian 2. Watch this space for more updates!
