Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActor Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Don’, directed by Cibi Chakravarthy and produced by Lyca Productions in association with Sivakarthikeyan Productions. While the shooting was going on in Anamalai in full swing, the Coimbatore District Police registered a case against 31 members of the crew for violating the COVID-19 safety protocols and levied a fine on the production team.
While shooting the movie, locals and fans gathered in large numbers to watch the stars at the shooting spot in Mukkonam by the banks of River Aliyar on Sunday (August 8) thereby flouting social distancing protocols.
Upon investigation, it was found that no permission had been obtained from the Anamalai town's panchayat for the shooting after which a case was registered against the director and 30 others. The Revenue Department also imposed a fine of Rs 19,400 on the crew for not following the SOP norms.
Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Arul Mohan play the lead roles in this comedy-entertainer film. The movie also features SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, Soori, ‘Cook with Comali’ fame Sivaangi amongst others in prominent roles.
