Day by day, there is an increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Tamil Nadu. Veteran director S.P. Muthuraman who has directed 25 films with Rajinikanth was admitted to the hospital where he tested positive for the virus.

Movie celebrities and fans were alarmed to learn that Muthuraman was admitted to the hospital. Muthuraman has now recovered and the hospital management has issued a statement to this effect.

The Tamil Nadu government is once again back to reinforcing strict measures to curb the spread of the virus. Those seen without masks in public spaces are being fined Rs 200. Beaches are closed to the public on weekends and on public holidays.
