Lenin Rajendran is a critically acclaimed and popular director in the Malayalam Film Industry. He has directed films like Kulam, Swathi Thirunal, Idavapathi etc., He made his debut through the movie Venal in the 1980's.
It is indeed a huge loss for the whole cinema fraternity as the legend has passed away due to liver ailments. Reports say he had undergone a liver transplant recently.
He breathed his last at 8:45pm yesterday, and his body is on display at KSFDC Kalabhavan Theatre from 10 am tomorrow for the public to pay their last respects.
Lenin is survived by wife Dr Ramani, daughter Dr Parvathy, and son Gauthaman.
