Venkat Prabhu is all geared up for his next film. Titled Maanaadu, this film will have STR aka Simbu as the lead. Although STR has worked together for a cameo role in the director's 2010 film Goa, this will be his first film as the lead hero.
Maanaadu is announced to be a complete political film and the shooting for the film is expected to begin in Malaysia this month. This film will have Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead who is also currently working on Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero by P.S.Mithran.
Now there is a much anticipated and exciting update from the film. Venkat Prabhu has taken to his Twitter account to announce that as speculated Maanaadu will have Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director for the film.
