Almost all of us wake up every day to several shocking and devastating death news that leaves us completely shattered. And now, the news is from the household of Director and Music Director Gangai Amaren’s household.
The musician’s wife, Manimegalai Gangai Amaren, aged 69, passed away around 11:30 pm on May 9. She was hospitalised in the Kauvery hospital and passed away owing to brief illness. Details of the last rites are expected to be announced soon.
Manimegalai is survived by her husband, Gangai Amaren, sons - director Venkat Prabhu and music composer and actor Premgi, and her grandchildren. Behindwoods expresses their heartfelt condolences to the bereaving family.
