VARALAXMI TO ACT IN A POPULAR REMAKE!

Samuthirakani's directorial venture, Appa, was well received by the critics in Kollywood. Now he has decided to remake this film in Malayalam as well.

This remake has been titled, Aakasha Mittaye and they have signed actor Jeyaram to play the lead role while actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is on board to play an important role. The Tamil version's female role did not have much scope and now that they have signed a star like Varalaxmi, we have to wait and watch if they have made any changes to the script.

The shooting for this film is set to start on 1st April and a pooja was held on 25th March.
