The movie, which is being directed by Mithran Jawahar has an ensemble cast that includes three heroines - Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The shooting of the commercial entertainer commenced on August 5 in Chennai and is progressing at a brisk pace.
The latest update from the film is that Dhanush and Nithya Menen are currently shooting for a song in Puducherry. After completing this, this team planning to go Courtallam for 10 days from September 10. Raashi Khanna is expected to join there.
'Thiruchitrambalam' marks the reunion of Dhanush and director Mithran Jawahar after 13 years. The commercial entertainer has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Known as DnA, Dhanush and Anirudh are coming together after five years. The cast also features Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja who are set to play pivotal roles.
Dhanush was last seen as Suruli in director Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jagame Thandhiram’. Apart from 'Thiruchitrambalam', he is also shooting for Kathick Naren's 'Maaran'. The other projects lined up in his kitty are: 'Atrangi Re', 'Naane Varuven', 'Aayirathil Oruvan 2', a trilingual film with Director Sekhar Kammula.
