THIS VALENTINE - LAUGH, GET SCARED & BECOME A ZOMBIE

Producers and distributors plan and look out for release days with festivals in mind. We saw Vishal's Kathakali, Bals's Tharai Thappattai, Udayanidhi Stalin's Gethu and Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan, four big movies compete during Pongal.

 

February is going to be no less, with a minimum of three films releasing each weekend, targeting the love season. While the Arya-Rana-Bobby Simha multi-starrer Bangalore Naatkal advanced their release to February 5th, the film-festival acclaimed Visaaranai and Prashanth's Saahasam are also set for the same date. 

 

We now have some more biggies pitching in their releases for the Valentine season. Dismissing earlier rumors, Abinesh Elangovan of  ABI & ABI PICTURES, one of the producers of  Vijay Sethupathi's 'Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum' has now confirmed their Valentine weekend release. "We are definitely hitting the screens on the 12th of February as per plan", he assures further.

 

'Ka Ka Ka Po' will have some serious competitors in Jayam Ravi's Miruthan, Siddharth's Jil Jung Juk and Srikanth's Sowkarpettai. Seems like Valentines' Day is becoming the target for most filmmakers off late.
