Written and directed by debutant Madonne Ashwin, the film marks the productional debut of ‘Maari’ director Balaji Mohan under the banner Open Window which will team up with Y Not Studios, Reliance Entertainment and Wishberry films.

The film also features Sangili Murugan, GM Sundar, Sheela Rajkumar (Tolet fame), Kanna Ravi amongst others. On the technical front, the film’s cinematography will be handled by Vidhu Ayyanna and editing will be handled by Philomin Raj. The film features music by Bharath Sankar.

Now, AR Murugadoss has shared a tweet mentioning that the film will get a direct release on Vijay TV. His tweet reads thus: "Here’s the trailer of #Mandela! Relevant content at the right time :) World premiere on @vijaytelevision on Apr 4th, 9.30am."
