Actor Irfan made his debut in the superhit coming-of-age serial 'Kana Kaanum Kalangal' that aired on Vijay TV in 2006. He played the role of the cheerful Vineeth in the serial and since then became a household name among the Tamil audience. He also got an opportunity to participate in the dance reality show 'Jodi Number One' in the same channel where he went on to capture the third place.

The actor, who has acted in a couple of movies including 'Pattalam' (2009) and 'Eppadi Manasukkul Vanthai' (2012). His brief stint in the blockbuster Vijay TV serial 'Saravanan Meenatchi' was also widely appreciated.

Recently, the actor took a few questions from his fans in an Instagram Q&A session where he revealed that he might star in the reality cooking show 'Cooku with Comali' in its third season. Mentioning that he missed starring in 'Cooku with Comali' last year, he said he would take the opportunity as he knows cooking now.

When asked if he'd enter 'Bigg Boss Tamil' in the upcoming season, he said he wouldn't take it as "he is not the right person for fights and dramas."

The actor and his co-stars recently came to celebrate the reunion of 'Kana Kaanum Kalangal'. Apart from Irfan, Nisha Ganesh, Karthik Vasu, Swetha Subramanian, Sai Pramodita, Haripriya, Ganesh Prabhu and many others had joined the show.
