Telugu superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna is back in his swashbuckling avatar in Manmadhudu 2, Rahul Ravindran's second directorial. The actor is paired opposite Rakul Preet Singh while actors Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi and others play crucial supporting roles
The official teaser of the film released on 13th June, which features the actor playing the role of a flamboyant, unmarried person. The film promises a lot of fun, romance with loads of humour. The teaser also featured Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore and Devadarshini. The film is shot in various international locales. Manmadhudu 2 is a sequel to the 2002 rom-com Manmadhudu, which also had Nagarjuna playing the lead.
Manmathudu 2 also features a cameo performance from actress and daughter-in-law of Nagarjuna, Samantha Akkineni, and actress Keerthy Suresh. The film is jointly produced by Annapurna Studios,Manam Enterprises,Viacom 18 Studios and Anandi Art Creations. The film's music is composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj while M. Sukumar handles the editing department.
