Produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions, Nayanthara will be playing the female lead while Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Suniel Shetty, Nawab Shah and others in crucial roles. 

Recently, the pictures of Superstar Rajinikanth visiting Darbar's music composer Anirudh Ravichander's studio and listening to the songs have gone viral in social media. Apart from the two, director AR Murugadoss and lyricist Vivek were also present at the studio.

The glimpses has increased the levels of expectation to another level. The film is set to release on Pongal 2020 and after Darbar, Rajinikanth will be teaming up with director Siruthai Siva for Thalaivar 168, produced by Sun Pictures.
