A lot has been going on in Thalapathy Vijay’s life. Recently, the actor’s dad SA Chandrasekhar, had registered Vijay’s fan outfit as a political one - Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. Soon enough, the actor issued a statement saying that he has nothing to do with the party registered in his name and warned that action would be taken against those using his name for such activities.

He had also just recently met with about 50 of the 200 district secrataries of his Makkal Iyakkam. Now, the new office bearers have been announced by way of a press statement which also lists that Vijay’s face and other promotional material can't be used without due permission from the office bearers.
