VERITHANAM: THIS 'BIGIL' FAME GETS PROMOTED AS ASSISTANT COMMANDANT OF POLICE!

Post retirement from football, IM Vijayan started acting in films which includes Thimiru, Komban apart from Bigil; and also kept representing Kerala police. Vijayan formally big adieu to football after the Afro-Asian Games in 2003.
He was conferred Arjuna Award in 2003 and was AIFF player of the year in 1992, 1997 and 2000. An elated IM Vijayan took to his Twitter handle and shared the great news of his promotion in Kerala Police.
Sharing pics of the ceremony, IM Vijayan tweeted, “I am glad to inform you all that I have been promoted as Assistant Commandant of Kerala Police.” Wishes have been pouring in for the legend.
