Actor Karthi was last seen in the Rajath Ravishankar-directed Tamil romantic comedy, Dev. The actor was paired opposite Rakul Preet Singh and the film also had Prakash Raj, Amrutha Srinivasan and RJ Vigneshkanth in crucial supporting roles.
Actor Karthi’s next outing will be Kaidhi, which is scripted and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram-fame. The film’s official teaser of the film released on 30th May. The film is produced by S.R Prabhu, S.R Prakash Babu and Tiruppur Vivek under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures in association with Vivekananda Pictures. Touted to be an action thriller, the film also stars Narain, Vijay TV Dheena, Mariam George and others in crucial roles
Kaithi features music and background score composed by Sam C.S with Sathyan Sooryan cranking the camera. The actor also has a few projects down the pipeline, which includes the the untitled film directed by Jeethu Joseph that also has Jyothika in the lead role and the Bakkiyaraj Kannan-helmed Sultan.
