COMEDIAN TO BE ARRESTED? POLICE CONSULT LEGAL OPINION

Tanmay Bhatt, the standup comedian is in the news now for all the wrong reasons. His recent snapchat video had derided veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar.

In an earlier occasion also, he was involved in the AIB roast controversy which had the roast of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in an hour long video.

In the latest issue, Tanmay has made some crass remarks about Lata Mangeshkar’s age and her appearance under the guise of comedy which did not go well with people.

Most of the political parties in Maharashtra are up in arms on this issue and want Tanmay to be arrested. It is said that the Mumbai police is consulting legal experts to proceed in this matter.
