Along with the story and direction, Sudha Kongara had also taken up the screenplay along with Shalini Usha Devi. GV Prakash Kumar has tuned the songs for this movie, Niketh Bommi and Sathish Suriya handle the cinematography and editing departments respectively.

The first big release from the movie was the Maara Theme in Suriya's booming voice. After this energy blast song, the next release was announced to be a romantic number from the movie by GV Prakash. He announced the song Veyyon Silli release will be announced soon.

Marking the speciality of this song, Lyricist Vivek had tweeted that this will be his first collaboration with Suriya. He also noted a highlight of this song: "I am pleasantly surprised to realise that there is a happy coincidence. The 1st word of d song ‘Veyyon’ means ‘Suriyan’". Veyyon means Sun, and Silli means a part - a chunk so Veyyon Silli means a chunk of the sun, Vivek adds.
