In a politically influenced theme, Son of India is an upcoming Telugu film inspired by the true events from the Telugu states. Directed by Diamond Babu, the movie is bankrolled by Vishnu Manchu under the banner of Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and 24 Frames Factory.

The film features actors Mohan Babu, Srikanth, Tanikella Bharani and Ali, amongst others. This film is the journey of a seasoned politician from a core party leader to the Chief Minister of a state. Though the film has many incidents inspired by true events, it is blended with fictional elements.
