SURIYA'S SOORARAI POTTRU NEW UPDATE: BIGIL AND DARBAR CONNECT
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsAfter the acclaimed sports-drama Irudhi Suttru, director Sudha Kongara will be returning to Tamil screen with the forthcoming film Soorarai Pottru, which has Suriya and Aparna Balamurali as leads while Vivek Prasanna, Paresh Rawal play principal roles.
With cinematography by Niketh Bommi, Soorarai Pottru is reportedly inspired by the life of GR Gopinath, founder of India's first low-cost aviation company Air Deccan. Recently, GV Prakash Kumar, music director of Soorarai Pottru, had announced on Twitter that the second track will be releasing soon.
Titled 'Veyyonsilli', the song is crooned by Harish Sivaramakrishnan while lyricist Vivek will be composing music for this song. Vivek had previously penned verses for the songs 'Verithanam' from Bigil and 'Chumma Kizhi' from Darbar.
Soorarai Pottru is produced by Suriya's home banner, 2D Entertainment, in association with Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment. The film's teaser and first single, Maara theme, have garnered a massive response among netizens.
