Actor STR was last seen in Sundar C's Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, that had Megha Akash as the female lead, while Catherine Tresa and Mahat, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar and others played crucial supporting roles. The film was directed by Sundar C, and produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca productions. It was the official Tamil remake of the Telugu film Attarintiki Daredi.
Soon, he started work for his next film directed by Venkat Prabhu, titled Maanadu, opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan. The project will be bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner V House Productions. The actor was training rigorously in London, and revealed a new look around a month back.
Now he is back in Chennai, as his brother, Kuralarasan is getting married today, 26th April 2019. The event is a private affair, with the close friends and family of both the bride and the groom taking part in the ceremonies. STR again managed to surprise his fans, as he sported a new look, by trimming his moustache and beard.
On the work front, STR will be acting in a film with Seeman, and is speculated to do a film with Aravind Swami that will be a biopic of MGR and MR Radha. Stay tuned for more updates.
