Late legendary actress Sridevi, who has won our hearts with her performances across the years has won the Best Actress award at the National Awards 2018 for her last film Mom.
Mom was directed by Ravi Udyawar and had Sridevi playing the lead role with Sajal Ali and Nawazuddin Siddiqui seen in supporting roles. Mom was Sridevi’s last film and her 300th film in her career.

In other (slightly uplifting) news, Jhanvi Kapoor, who has attended the National Awards ceremony to receive the award for Best Actress on behalf of her mother the legendary Sridevi.
As a special gesture, Jhanvi paid homage to the late actress by donning a saree that belonged to her (Sridevi). Jhanvi has also been receiving praise for this act.
