The pre-release function of Mahesh Babu's Spyder took place in Hyderabad today, 15th of September. Here we bring to you SJ Suryah's speech from the event:
"Spyder has a 'pucca' concept, it will have heroism but it will also have a good concept. The climax, in particular, is stunning. Even in Tamil Nadu, we have a hero like Mahesh Babu, Vijay 'garu'. Vijay has done many action subjects in Tamil but when he acted in Thuppakki, AR Murugadoss made it in a manner that it has every element that an action hero wants plus a very good concept to back it. It was Vijay's biggest hit in his career and took him to a different level similarly, I wish Spyder makes Mahesh Babu reach another level."

Actor and director SJ Suryah who has done a pivotal role in Vijay’s Mersal, is excited about his character in the Atlee film which has music by AR Rahman. In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, SJ Suryah talked about Mersal and his other projects. He said:
“For Mersal, I am sure it will have all the elements and impress fans world over. My character is something I will not be able to reveal about. Vijay sir is calm and composed but when it comes to the camera, he is like a cyclone. Atlee sir is an amazing talent and I am extremely happy to be booked as an actor by really good directors.
Including Mersal, I have 4 releases between June and December 2017 and this is the best that an actor can ask for. I can consider this as my growth and to work with excellent directors is an amazing feeling. I just surrender myself to the director every time and let him decide what is best for the characters that I play.”
The 3 other movies apart from Mersal, that SJ Suryah has in hand are Spyder, Nenjam Marappathillai, and Iravaakaalam.
