The actor has several projects under the pipeline and one of them includes Namma Veettu Pillai, which is directed by Pandiraj, who is fresh off the success of Kadaikutty Singam, which starred Karthi as the lead. Meanwhile, the film's team has recently wrapped the shoot on 6th September and in order to celebrate the completion, the team had a cake-cutting ceremony. The occasion was joined the film's lead actor Sivakarthikeyan and director Pandiraj, along with many other cast and crew members. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures.

On the technical front, Namma Veettu Pillai is cinematographed by noted lensman Nirav Shah, while Ruben handles the cuts. The family drama also stars Anu Emmanuel as the female lead while actors actors Bharathiraja, Soori, Samuthirakani, Natty, Aishwarya Rajesh, Yogi Babu, Archana and others play crucial roles. Namma Veettu Pillai is eyeing for a September release.
