FROM BEEP SONG TO VOTE SONG

Last December, Simbu was battered and dragged into controversial discussions for a song which got released on the net without his knowledge, called the infamous Beep Song. The reaction to the song was of two factions: People who regarded it as an act of transgression against women and people who thought the song wasn’t such a big deal compared to other events that were clear transgressions but went ignored. The Chennai Maadhar Sangam raised a siege against the actor who clearly explained his stand about the song and apologised.
